Handling self-checkout errors

I’ve been noticing more issues at the self-checkout lately, especially with scanning items. The other day, my friend’s card wouldn’t scan after several attempts, which caused a bit of a delay. Has anyone else experienced this, and what tips do you have for resolving it quickly?

I’ve had similar issues, and a trick that’s worked for me is to hold the item at a different angle while scanning; it might seem odd, but it can help sometimes. Ever tried repositioning the item?

I’ve found that sometimes just resetting the scanner by moving your items out of the scanning area for a moment can help clear up glitches. That delay can be super frustrating, especially if you’re in a hurry. Have you tried this method before, @jacob4075?
