Keeping Up with Cash Flow

I’ve been working as a cashier for a few months now, and managing the cash flow has its challenges. Just yesterday, I had to count over $1,500 for deposit and it really made me appreciate the importance of accuracy. How do you all keep track of everything and make sure you’re not missing anything when handling cash?

I find it really helps to double-check your cash register tape against the actual cash before closing out. It saved me a few times from missing discrepancies. Have you tried any specific methods to keep track while you’re working?
